In 1924 Floyd Waddell purchased his first truck for transporting goods. Prior to this he had started the company with just a horse and a wagon.

 

Today Waddell Transfer has evolved from a one-horse operation to a successful regional transportation business located in Atkins, VA. With seventeen trucks and growing, we are big enough to get the job done,

while still small enough to stay focused on the details.

We are a regional transportation company, delivering within a 1,000 mile radius of Atkins, VA. We do our best to make sure freight stays on schedule while also

getting drivers home multiple times during the week during the week and also do our best to get them home every weekend.

This addition helps our company to not only to be fully compliant at all times, but to also reduces the amount of time and paper work a driver must keep on hand. Even if you have never used an ELD device this system is very user friendly and allows training to use the devices is a breeze.
